What "Free for Life" Means in the TheraPrac Alpha

TheraPrac offers free lifetime access to a limited number of founding practices as part of our private Alpha program. This page explains exactly what is included, how it maps to our standard pricing, and where usage-based fees still apply.

Core Platform Access (Free for Life)

Alpha practices receive free access to TheraPrac Simple or Clinical for up to 4 providers, for the lifetime of the product.

This includes the features normally covered under those plans, such as:

• Scheduling and calendar management
• Security features (MFA, audit logging, and role-based access controls)
• Client intake and records
• Progress notes and core clinical workflows

There is no subscription fee for Simple or Clinical for up to four providers.

If your practice grows beyond four providers, additional providers are billed at standard per-provider rates based on your active plan. See pricing.

Telehealth (Basic Included)

Alpha practices receive Telehealth Basic at no cost.

Telehealth Basic includes:

• Up to 3,000 participant minutes per provider per month
• Secure, browser-based video sessions
• One-time session links

A "participant minute" is counted per participant on the call.
Example: a 60-minute session with two participants uses 120 participant minutes.

Telehealth usage and upgrades

• If you exceed included minutes, overages are billed at standard per-minute rates.
• If you upgrade to Telehealth Pro or Telehealth Unlimited, the free Telehealth Basic tier is credited and you only pay the difference between tiers.

TheraPrac Pay (Platform Fee Waived)

TheraPrac Pay is optional and only required if you accept payments through TheraPrac.

TheraPrac Pay enables secure client payments, receipts, refunds, payouts, and audit-ready transaction tracking for the practice. It is required only if you accept card payments and serves as the foundation for future insurance payment capabilities.

TheraPrac Pay Platform Fees

TheraPrac Pay platform fees consist of a monthly tenant fee and per-transaction fees.

What is waived

• The $30 per month tenant platform access fee is permanently waived.

What is not waived

• Per-transaction platform fees
• Payment processor fees charged by card networks or processors

Transaction-based fees are not discounted. See pricing.

What "Free for Life" Does Not Mean

Free lifetime access does not include:

• Additional provider seats beyond four
• Telehealth usage beyond included minutes
• Telehealth tier upgrades beyond the credited amount
• Payment processing or transaction-based fees
• Insurance billing, claims processing, or clearinghouse services
• Optional future add-ons that include third-party or usage-based costs
• Custom development or practice-specific configurations

If new paid features or add-ons are introduced in the future, Alpha practices will always retain free access to the included core benefits described on this page.
